Grape variety: 100% Garganega.
Characteristics: This full bodied wine is made from carefully selected grapes grown on our vines. After a light pressing, the must is put into new 500-litre barrels to ferment, and is then aged in the same barrels for a period of ten to eleven months. The high alcohol content gives a zesty after taste, typical of the grapes, and a vanilla flavour, which the oak imparts to the wine.
Drinking/Storage: Pieve Vecchia can be enjoyed after one year in the bottle. We suggest you keep the bottles in a cool place, in a horizontal position to keep the cork moist, away from direct sunlight and avoid any changes of temperature. This wine should be served at 12-14°C and, once open, it must be drunk within three days.
